Broken angel
Confused and alone
Lost in the darkness
A long way from home.
Black tears trickle down
Her porcelain skin.
A heart made of crystal
Has shattered within.
Banished from Heaven,
Her innocence jaded.
Her once glowing light
Is now grey and faded.
Wings torn from her back,
She wanders through Hell.
To her last light of hope
She bids a farewell.
Left in the darkness
With tears in her eyes,
No longer pure
In a world full of lies.

Do you say her name and sometimes see my face?
At night, when you think of your love for her...
do i sometimes creep into place?
I made a mistake.
Did something i shouldn't.
But i felt your heart.
A saddened passion deep inside.
Somewhere, you know...
Somewhere we share a secret.
Once upon a time,
we were secret lovers.
Sharing pieces of our true souls.
No one could know, no one could understand.
You were my true prince.
And, hopefully, i was what you were looking for.
Now our fairytale has ended.
Reality is here.
But, the stars and the moon, they know.
They wait for us to find one ano

You've pierced my heart and left me to die
I sit all alone and wonder why
It's hard to go on without a heart
It was your razorblade words that tore it apart
Scribbling down sentences to describe how I feel
Nothing I write can feel this real
The mirror reflects a pain that will never fade
I'm trapped in a mess that I've made
Duct taping broken pieces that fit into place
Mascara running down my face
At a frantic pace my fingers missed
A lose piece fell and slit my wrist
Just enough to see a peek of red
The way this night ended I'd rather be dead

This is one of my favorites that I've written. Very basic rhyme scheme, but I think it gets the point across.
